::: Week in Review :::

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

That pretty much wraps it up. :)

I feel okay at the end of the first week.

I had some less than stellar moments (irresistable chocolate covered rice krispie treats and a few meals that were much bigger than necessary).

I had pretty fantastic moments (wonderful water intake and a 6.5 mile walk - - yee haw!).

I'm down just shy of 2 pounds. I'm pretty sure that's water weight, but I'll take it.

This week will be a struggle. I'm out of town for 5 days visiting my sister. There is junk food galore and it's challenging to stick to an eating and exercise plan away from home.

I surprised my sister at her baby shower. I made her baby this quilt.

I am going to enjoy myself and not ruin my opportunity to see my sister by obsessing over diet and exercise.

Maybe I'll regret that attitude next week. Or maybe I'll just get back on the wagon and hit it out of the park. I'm hoping for the second!

How was your week?

♥ Cath

  4. Great loss this week! :) I think that you should enjoy the time with your sister and fit in exercise when/where you can; the scale may be important right now, but in the long run I think spending time with your sister outweighs the scale.

    1. Agreed! Part of weight loss is continuing to live your life and not letting food control you (for better or worse). It was a great trip - - so glad I didn't obsess.
